This modern home in Melbourne, Australia, is designed and built by Altereco. The design is simple with clean lines, an open plan layout and a sober color palette.

I really like this family home in Brønshøj: the different hues of blue give the space a clean and cool look and feel.
In Den Bosch, the Netherlands. A huge living/working space at 1000 square meters.

We just got totally envious of guy style. British designer Bobby Abley just debuted his Little Mermaid menswear collection in London and it’s “playful meets masculine” at its best. From Sebastian stamped sweaters to seashell tees and matching board shorts, this 90’s inspired line will have us all running to the guys’ department come fall.
Abley’s show had the slouchy skateboarder look down pat as his models walked in boxy sweaters, shredded tanks and skintight Hawaiian prints. Their looks were complete with Vans sneakers and custom Ariel-inspired skateboards designed by Danny Hyland. As a nod to the mermaid herself, Abley featured one female look starring a redhead model in a crop top and lipstick print board shorts. A clever take on “Kiss the girl” if we do say so ourselves. Iridescent fabrics also flooded the catwalk, which sent the wow factor through the roof. If this designer hasn’t been on your radar, he’s sure to be making a splash now.
We’re flipping over this collection and will be holding our breath til it hits shores…we mean, stores. We can’t wait to get our hands on that Ursula sweater, those lipstick boardshorts, and pretty much everything else. Forget dresses and skirts, we’re going full on tomboy next season.

For those seeking a true luxury escape this summer, zoom in on the tiny Eden of Kandolhu Island, located in the Maldives. While everything might look as perfect as a postcard, those pristine waters are meant to be explored, as the resort offers dives throughout the day and night inviting visitors to discover nearby caves and the stunning reefs of the Ari Atoll which offer the possibility of swimming alongside peaceful giants—the whale sharks. 30 villas are scattered across the small island of Kandolhu and appear to hover over the Indian Ocean while the open concept of the villas will always keep the natural surroundings in sight. The exterior of the villas are clearly inspired by the natural aesthetic, while the interiors offer all the modern amenities of home for those in need of technological comfort when paradise itself isn’t enough (iPad included). We recommend venturing to Kandolhu sooner rather than later, as the Maldives are actually sinking, thanks to the wondrous benefits of global warming. That being said, let’s be honest, you came to see the pictures. Enjoy.
